Common Questions About Single Units

Everything you need to know before you enrol.

Do these units count toward a full qualification?

Yes. Every unit is part of the BSB Business Services training package. Complete the required units and you can credit them toward a Certificate III, Certificate IV, or Diploma - whichever pathway suits you. It's a smart way to start if you're not ready to commit to a full qualification upfront.

How long does a unit take to complete?

Most units have a nominal duration of 30–60 hours. Working comfortably alongside a full-time job, most students finish a unit in 4–8 weeks. There are no deadlines - you go at whatever pace suits your life.

What do I receive when I finish?

A nationally recognised Statement of Attainment issued by Edmund Barton College (RTO 90768). This is a formal credential you can add to your resume, LinkedIn profile, and job applications right away.

Can I enrol in more than one unit at a time?

Absolutely. You can enrol in multiple units simultaneously and work through them at your own pace. We also offer a 20% discount when you enrol in two or more units at once - making it more cost-effective to build your skills faster.

Is there support available if I get stuck?

Yes - every enrolment includes access to a dedicated personal mentor. They review your assessments, give you detailed written feedback, and are available to answer questions throughout your studies. You're never left to figure it out on your own.

What's the difference between a unit and a skill set?

A single unit gives you one Statement of Attainment focused on one specific competency. A skill set bundles two or three complementary units together at a slightly reduced combined price, designed around a specific workplace outcome - such as supervisory skills or customer service. Both count toward full qualifications.

Not Sure Which Unit Is Right for You?

That's completely fine - most people aren't sure where to start. We can help you work out which unit matches your goals, your role, and your career direction.

No sales pressure. Just a straightforward conversation about what's right for you.
