Is this unit nationally recognised? Yes. BSBLDR521 Lead the Development of Diverse Workforces is a nationally recognised unit of competency delivered under the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF). Upon successful completion, you'll receive a Statement of Attainment issued by Edmund Barton College (RTO #90768).
Can I study this as a standalone unit, or does it need to be part of a qualification? You can enrol in this unit on its own - no need to commit to a full qualification. Many of our students study individual units to fill specific skill gaps or meet workplace requirements. This unit may also count towards a Diploma or Certificate IV qualification if you choose to continue your studies with us.
How long does this unit take to complete? This is a self-paced online course, so you study at your own speed. It generally takes around 12 Hours to complete this unit. You have 4 months to complete the whole unit. There are no fixed class times or deadlines to work around.
How is the course delivered? Everything is 100% online. You'll work through course materials at your own pace and submit assessments through our online learning platform. You won't need to attend any classes, workshops, or exams in person.
What kind of assessments are involved? Assessments are practical and workplace-focused - typically written questions, case studies, or short projects that reflect real situations you'd encounter on the job. There are no timed exams. Your assessments are reviewed by a qualified EBC mentor who provides feedback and guidance.
Do I need any prior qualifications to enrol? No formal prerequisite qualifications are required for this unit. You should have a working level of English literacy and basic digital skills to engage with online learning materials. Some units are best suited to people with some workplace experience - check the unit overview above for any recommended experience.
What support will I receive while I'm studying? Every student has access to a dedicated EBC mentor throughout their enrolment. Your mentor is there to answer questions, provide feedback on your assessments, and help you stay on track. You can reach your mentor by email and expect a response within one business day.

I'm based overseas - can I still enrol? Our courses are delivered entirely online and are open to students studying from outside Australia. Please note that our training is not CRICOS-registered, so this enrolment is not suitable for student visa purposes. If you're on a student visa in Australia, please contact us before enrolling.
